Jonathan Tsipis works to mend fences with state’s high school coaches and players

Jonathan Tsipis wasn’t about to skip the opportunity to speak to the executive board for the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association at its spring meeting in April. A sure sign of a fast learner. Five years earlier, his predecessor as University of Wisconsin women’s basketball coach, Bobbie Kelsey, also stopped in at the WBCA meeting, but didn’t stick around long enough to speak to the group. That decision would haunt Kelsey throughout her time at UW.
