Brian Rafalski was on the right point. Ryan Suter was on the left point. And it was easy to connect the dots (D to D) between the two former University of Wisconsin hockey defensemen who are now paired on the blueline for Team USA in the Winter Olympics. Beyond their obvious ties to the Badgers — Rafalski played four seasons (1991-95), Suter played one (2003-04) — is their playing link to the Madison Capitols organization.
