More than seven months before The Big Chill arrives, the University of Michigan is within a hair of breaking the all-time ticket sales record for an outdoor hockey game. The school reports on its website that it has sold 73,513 tickets for the Dec. 11 game against Michigan State at Michigan Stadium — a.k.a The Big House. The University of Wisconsin hosted a hockey doubleheader in February at Camp Randall Stadium that drew 55,031.
