NCAA may reward programs. Schools could get $100,000 for high performance rates

The NCAA is drawing up a groundbreaking incentives program that could award schools up to $100,000 for scoring high in a new measure of athletes’ academic performance. Teams with lofty academic performance rates (APRs) also would be recognized with plaques and possibly uniform patches.
