Unruly weather washed out the competition on the first day of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association womenâ??s national championship on Lake Mendota, and the forecast doesnâ??t look much better for Day 2. The event, hosted by the University of Wisconsin Sailing Club, will attempt to resume Wednesday — there is a 70 percent chance of rain, with thunderstorms looming — with 18 schools competing in the semifinals for a top-nine finish and a berth in the championship round.
