After his team stated its case on the field, winning its ninth game for a record fourth straight season, University of Wisconsin football coach Bret Bielema made the case for his team to appear in a January bowl game again.
“Without a doubt,” Bielema said after the 41-34 victory over Minnesota on Saturday in Minneapolis, when asked if the Badgers (9-3 overall, 5-3 Big Ten Conference) are worthy of a Jan. 1 bowl game.
