Cheryl Bailey, a principle figure in the recent renaissance of University of Wisconsin sports, will resign this summer to pursue other professional opportunities.
Bailey (formerly Marra) has been an administrator in the UW Athletic Department for 15 years – the last three as senior associate athletic director for sports administration. She is the second-most tenured member of the senior staff behind UW athletic director and football coach Barry Alvarez.
