The pending departure of Cheryl Bailey from the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department’s senior staff has led to one promotion, a series of behind-the-scenes assignment changes and a smaller management team.
Terry Gawlik has been promoted from assistant athletic director to associate AD, effective July 1. She takes over as senior women’s administrator, replacing Bailey, a long-time senior associate AD who announced her resignation last month effective Aug. 31.
