Badgers fans flocked to Union South in larger-than-expected numbers to cheer on Bucky. Riley Garcia, general manager for restaurants at Union South, said the university was planning for between 300 and 1,000 guests. Instead his staff of eight student employees – diminished by students who hadn’t returned from winter break – hosted closer to 1,500 fans.
