She attended UW-Madison and received bachelor?s degrees in genetics and bacteriology. Tiffany continued her education at UW-Madison, earning a master?s degree in bacteriology. During her graduate studies, Tiffany developed a bacteria growth gel, that she named “Tif agar” that is still used at the UW today. Tiffany continued her work as a research assistant and specialist at the UW until 1994.

He was in charge of refrigeration for the University and worked in labs such as zoology and microbiology. Jack was ahead of his time; he was the driver of a University car pool in the 60?s, leaving the house at 7:26 a.m. exactly, Monday through Friday. After 36 years at UW he retired in 1984.

MGE considers buying the rest of UW campus power plant

MGE Energy has entered into a joint venture with Wisconsin Energy, Milwaukee, to consider bidding on power plant assets owned by the state. That could include the UW-Madison?s West Campus cogeneration plant, on Walnut Street, according to a document filed by the Madison utility company with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
