A UW-Madison graduate student was struck in the back of the head with a pipe early this morning and robbed of his wallet.
UW police are looking for the suspect who attacked the 31-year-old male at about 12:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of Observatory Drive on campus.
The unidentified victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the perpetrator is a black male, 25-35 years old, with a thin build and between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet tall. He was wearing blue jean shorts and a light-colored T-shirt.
