t’s never a ho-hum affair – the annual visit of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Varsity Band to the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts in Green Bay. This year, that hoopla will likely be heightened. The concert comes on the heels of band members being in the thick of the energy surrounding tonight’s Monday, April 6 men’s basketball national championship run for the Wisconsin Badgers. CBS is televising the game, and coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. on WFRV, Channel 5.
