UW-Madison scientist in South Pole gets pass from running in the cold Wednesday

While Kathrin Mallot, a scientist with The IceCube Neutrino Observatory, ran a half marathon at the South Pole earlier this month, the University of Wisconsin–Madison is giving her a pass in the current Wednesday temperatures.
