UW-Madison Students Try To Break A Record (WIBA)

What better way to get 600 people acquainted at the same time…than to play a game most of them probably hadn’t played since they were kids. The UW-Madison students living in Sellery Hall on campus this year played what might be the world’s largest game of “telephone” last night. That’s where one person whispers a phrase to the next person in line, and so on until the last person hopefully gets the original message right. Tyler Johnson of St. Paul was last in line last night…and while he didn’t get it exactly, he tells WIBA news…he didn’t cheat.Ã?  Johnson yelled out “UW-Madison Rocks”…but the original message was “Go Big Red.” The UW plans to contact the Guinness Book of World Records to see if the students set one.
