University of Wisconsin-Madison officials are defending their decision not to release any specific number of H1N1 flu virus cases.
Dr. Sarah Van Orman, executive director of UW Health Services, said issuing case numbers regarding the so-called swine flu would be largely inaccurate since there are too many factors to consider. Instead, UW officials are focusing its resources on managing the virus’ outbreaks.
