The Madison Police Department said a shooting near UW’s campus on Saturday is now considered to be accidental.
Police responded to Langdon Street, near N Carroll Street, around 3:30 a.m. after they heard someone had been shot in the arm. When they got there, they found a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound to his forearm.
