Wanamaker, Whitehouse, Randle make world rowing championship teams

Senior rower Maddie Wanamaker (Neenah, Wisconsin), and former Badgers Monica Whitehouse (Muskego, Wisconsin) and Helena Randle (Brookline, Massachusetts) will make their international debuts this summer when they compete at the 2016 Senior, Under 23 and Junior World Rowing Championships scheduled for August 21-28 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Cierra Runge is officially Rio bound.An incoming transfer that will be a redshirt sophomore for the Wisconsin swimming team this fall, Runge received official word from U.S. Swimming on Saturday that she had earned a spot on its team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Starting at 10 tonight, fans will get to preview the new gear and have the chance to meet Barry Alvarez and others in the athletic department. Then at midnight, fans will be able to buy new Under Amour Badger gear from Bucky’s Locker Room at the stadium.
