UW-Madison chancellor finalist Rebecca Blank has spent time as acting secretary of U.S. Commerce Department

Five years ago, Rebecca Blank came to UW-Madison as a finalist for the chancellor job that went to Biddy Martin. Now Blank is back as a finalist for the same job after serving in Washington, D.C., as a top official in the U.S. Commerce Department.
