A controlled burn at the Lakeshore Nature Preserve has some people taking notice

On Wednesday, a controlled burn took place in certain areas of the Lakeshore Nature Preserve on the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus. The burn included a section of the Eagle Heights Woods. The City of Madison disclosed receiving reports from residents who noted ash floating in the air in certain parts of the city.
