BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University is joining a national effort to improve conditions at so-called “sweatshop” factories overseas that make college apparel.
IU President Adam Herbert said the school agrees “in principle” with the campaign by the Worker Rights Consortium, a group that monitors workplace conditions in developing nations.
