Arlie Max Mucks Jr. of Madison passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2005, at the age of 84. He served as executive director of the Wisconsin Alumni Assocation from 1962 until 1989, then served as a special assistant to Chancellor Donna Shalala, and as a special consultant to the UW Athletic Department.
