Edward “Ed” Malcheski, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. Ed served as extension dairy specialist at the University of Wisconsin from 1951 to 1955, and farm director at WISC-TV from 1961 to 1972, where he claimed he was the star of stage, screen and the barnyard.
