Fannie “Fan” Turnbull Taylor, age 94, passed away due to complications of old age on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. She was instrumental in establishing the Arts Administration program at the UW Graduate School of Business, the first in the nation. Taylor was a University of Wisconsin-Madison emeritus professor (L and S, Union, Consortium for the Arts). She was a Fellow of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters; received the Wisconsin Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award; and in 1992 was given the Governor’s Award in Support of the Arts for “a half century of dedicated service to the arts.”
