George Evans Nettum, died peacefully in his sleep, Friday, March 7, 2008, three days from his 87th birthday. He graduated from the University in 1946 with a B.S. in agriculture. In 1953 he moved his family to Viroqua where he served as the tobacco extension specialist for the UW-Extension Service.
