Ian C. Loram, of Pasadena, Calif., born on Feb. 26, 1917, in Durban, South Africa, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, in Los Angeles, at age 91. Professor Emeritus Loram taught German at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1964 until 1979; he was also an associate dean of the Graduate School.
