James Richard Bauknecht, age 56, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008. Jim received his master’s and PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jim worked as an English professor from 1978 until he retired in December 2007. During his career, he had the opportunity to teach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Northern Essex College in Massachusetts and Madison Area Technical College.
