Janice Mary Friis, age 71, passed away at Oak Park Place in the Memory Care Unit due to cancer on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Janice worked for the University of Wisconsin Extension System for 40 years almost entirely in Extension Engineering (now Engineering Professional Development), where she loved mentoring students and arranging conferences and seminars.
