Obituary: Lorin Arthur Uffenbeck

Professor Lorin Arthur Uffenbeck, Emeritus Professor of French at the University of Wisconsin – Madison died in his Chicago home on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008. He received his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and served first as associate professor (1965-1969), and then professor of French and Italian until his retirement in 1994.
