Nora Ann McGuire, age 56, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Since 1988, Nora was employed by the University of Wisconsin Colleges, and served for many years as the Chief Student Affairs Officer, until her retirement in 2006. In recognition of her contributions to the students and staff of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, the Nora McGuire Outstanding Academic Staff Member in Student Services annual award was established after her retirement.
