Soren Bisgaard died in Boston on Dec. 14, 2009. At the University of Wisconsin he worked in a variety of roles and units related to industrial engineering, quality control, and productivity improvement before becoming a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, and Director of the Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement.
