Top cops at Wisconsin Capitol protests clashed, new book says

Amid Wisconsin?s biggest political protests in a generation, the top cops inside the state Capitol sometimes issued opposing orders as they struggled with moments of chaos and weeks of pressure, a new book reveals.In “A View from the Interior: Policing the Protests at the Wisconsin State Capitol,” University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Chief Susan Riseling describes resisting an order relayed by Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs to clear the Statehouse at a moment of high tension early in the protests.
