Campus Connection: UW prof taking leave to become advisor with FDA

Alta Charo, a professor of law and bioethics, is taking a leave from the University of Wisconsin-Madison to become a senior advisor in the Office of the Commissioner at the Food & Drug Administration, which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
