A paper on the study, by Robert Kelchen, an assistant professor of higher education at Seton Hall University, and Sara Goldrick-Rab, a professor of educational-policy studies and sociology at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, finds that such a program could increase the enrollment rate of low-income students.
