BU picks Wisc. administrator as dean (The Boston Globe)

For the first time in more than 30 years, Boston University has appointed an outsider to be dean of its largest and most central school, the College of Arts and Sciences. Until recently, Virginia Sapiro was vice provost for teaching and learning at the University of Wisconsin. Sapiro, who is a political scientist and women’s studies specialist, will replace Jeffrey Henderson, who is returning to the faculty.
