Classes resume at UW-Madison despite safety concerns (AP)

MADISON, Wis. – Classes resumed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Wednesday, but police still had not located the teenager they said was suicidal and tried to provoke a deadly shootout with authorities on campus.

The university said it had determined Jesse Miller, 19, of Madison, to be a danger to himself and not the campus community, so classes and other campus operations, including UW Hospital and Clinic business, would go on as normal.
