Corpse Flower Expected to Bloom as Soon as Tuesday at Milwaukee Public Museum (AP)

The Milwaukee Public Museum’s titan arum — known as the “corpse flower” — is preparing to bloom.

Museum officials predict this will happen within the next two weeks, possibly as soon as Tuesday.

The Milwaukee Public Museum’s plant was obtained in August 2002 and came from a seed produced by University of Wisconsin-Madison’s “Big Bucky.”
