UW-Madison faculty, staff and administrators are mourning a former UW-Madison professor who died Saturday in an apparent suicide.
Denice Denton, who was appointed chancellor of the University of California-Santa Cruz two years ago, is believed to have jumped from a 43-story luxury apartment building in downtown San Francisco, police and UC officials said.
