Flu cases drop again on UW campus

The number of influenza cases on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus continued to come down last week, with fewer than 100 students with flu-like symptoms contacting University Health Services.

The 94 students going to the on-campus health clinic in the fourth week of the fall semester (Sept. 20-26) was about the level that normally is expected during the peak of a typical flu season, said UHS epidemiologist Craig Roberts.
