With Bascom Hall to their backs and the state Capitol straight ahead, UW-Madison students at a rally Friday complained that they were being squeezed by tensions between lawmakers and university administrators.
“We’re trying to show that we’re squished in the middle,” said Dylan Rath, vice chairman of UW-Madison’s student government group, Associated Students of Madison.
