Madison woman charged in hospital theft ring

University of Wisconsin police arrested a Madison woman last week, for her alleged part in a burglary ring, targeting medical clinics and hospitals in Dane and Columbia counties.

Tuesday, Dane County prosecutors charged 26-year-old Lindie Wollin with two counts of felony identity theft. She could face further charges, as well.

The investigation was a joint effort of UW-Madison Police, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Police Department, Village of McFarland Police and City of Columbus Police.
