Drop in on alumni events for squeaky cheese curds and brats, but make sure you change the world, thousands of graduates were told Saturday at UW-Madison’s 153rd edition of commencement ceremonies.
Aside from a couple of party poppers, and the usual cheers shouted down from the balconies as graduates’ names were announced, the morning session at the Kohl Center stuck to a high-minded script.
