New dean named for merged USC college (The State, Charleston, S.C.)

A new dean has been named for USC�s largest, proposed college, the College of Arts and Sciences.

Mary Anne Fitzpatrick, deputy dean of the College of Letters and Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will join the university Jan. 16. (Third item.)
