Olin House Renovation Nearly Completed

MADISON, Wis. — Renovations of the Olin House, the official residence of the University of Wisconsin chancellor, are nearing completion.

The home, originally built in 1911, was in dire need of repairs.

In all, the privately funded $2.4 million project will have taken about 10 months to complete.

More than 50 events are held at the home each year and improvements will make holding those functions easier, WISC-TV reported.
