The UW-Oshkosh will host two panels and a guest speaker in response to the visit and speech of controversial UW-Madison lecturer Kevin Barrett. The first panel, ââ?¬Å?Why People Believe Weird Things,ââ?¬Â is scheduled before Barrettââ?¬â?¢s visit. The second panel ââ?¬Å?Academic Freedom as a Form of Free Speech,ââ?¬Â and guest speaker Michael Shermer are scheduled after his lecture.
