Five UW-Madison film students were only acting, but the $412 disorderly conduct tickets they got from Madison police Wednesday morning were real.
In the second such incident in as many weeks, officers were called to the top level of the Overture Center Ramp, 318 W. Mifflin St., at 11:18 a.m. after a woman in a nearby building, the Madison Public Library, saw what appeared to be an armed assault taking place.
“They were acting confrontational with each other,” said Madison Police Sgt. Richard Scanlon.
