Update: Park rape was ‘very violent,’ police spokesman says

The sexual assault of a Madison woman in a downtown park early Sunday was a very violent attack, the spokesman for the Madison Police Department told Madison.com. “This rape is a bad case,” Joel DeSpain said. “It is as serious as any other one I?ve seen.”
