UW-Madison’s Pre-college Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence — better known as PEOPLE — has named Jacqueline DeWalt as its new director.
DeWalt, who has been assistant director of the program since 2005, will oversee year-round academic enrichment, summer residential workshops, cultural and group activities in higher education, community outreach and public school partnerships.
