The University of Wisconsin-Madison offered an online summer course to 22 Army, Navy, and Air Force officers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The course was taught by history professor Jeremi Suri, as part of the Grand Strategy Program, and was made possible by a lead gift from the Hertog Foundation.
