UW-Madison official reprimanded for sex talk

MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Madison waited more than one year to formally reprimand a power plant superintendent who asked a subordinate to have sex with him, a school official said Monday.

John J. Loescher violated a work rule when he asked employee Amy Gabel to sleep with him while they were at dinner in 2005, according to a letter of reprimand in his personnel file. Gabel refused, and Loescher dropped the subject, the letter said.
