The first man banned from the entire UW-Madison campus was sentenced to nearly six months in Dane County Jail Monday after pleading no contest last Wednesday to three charges against him. As required by the sentencing, Albert Wellstein, a 52-year-old UW-Madison alumnus, will serve time for resisting a police officer and misdemeanor bail jumping in May 2007, and for violating a harassment restraining order banning him from the UW-Madison campus in September 2007.
